Join Close Brothers Savings Team where you will be responsible for developing and implementing a portfolio of strategic initiatives including marketing, customer experience, commercial, regulatory, transformational or brand initiatives, shaping and delivering them to an agreed scope, timeline and budget. Working as part of the Savings team our ideal team member will have previous experience in leading in the development of new business opportunities and driving efficient and effective business practices with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Savings Management team to set and drive the strategic direction of the Savings businesses.
- Support key planning and decision-making to improve E2E business performance and turning strategic plans into action.
- Develop collaborative team roadmaps to prioritise strategic, operational and commercial initiatives alongside BAU workstreams, ensuring the customer is put first when adapting priorities.
- Drive a culture where good customer outcomes are key to the business strategy and vision; and are well understood across Savings.
- Work closely with the Customer Experience Lead to ensure colleagues and leaders within the Savings business are set up for delivering consistently brilliant customer experience and outcomes and ensuring that E2E customer journeys are well understood, documented, and optimised.
- Proactively scan the external environment to provide regular review of opportunities and threats resulting from changes to market, competition, technology, and industry trends.
- Develop and deliver high-impact presentations of insights and recommendations to support customer decision-making.

We would love to hear from you if you have/are
- Proven recent experience within Retail Financial Services (preferably Proposition development, Change, Customer Experience or Operational Excellence)
- Experience of contributing and delivering towards commercial strategy
- Highly articulate, capable of communicating complex arguments in simple language
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- A strong, visible leader who can inspire, coach and foster positive engagement and strong performance by role modelling the right behaviours
- Ability to identify, extract, summarise and interpret relevant information from a broad range of sources to develop overarching analysis and strategic insights
Nice to have
- Previous experience of working in regulated functions and assessing change impact against the risk landscape
- Proficient in marketing and project management software
- Project management skills
- Experience of risk management and strategic and ops planning
- Experience of delivering key strategic change in a financial services environment
