Highly regarded Residential Developer who undertake a mixture of large scale partnership type deals and private developments within London, Greater London and the Home Counties urgently require a Strategic Land Buyer to join their busy team.
The role will suit a dynamic, hungry, detailed individual who would be able to spot potential deals from searching through various local authorities that may have land parcels that could come to fruition within the next 5 – 10 years.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long established company that has a clear direction for the future in sourcing and acquiring strategic sites within Greater London and the Home Counties. It is a flexible role that will have home working thrown in due to the nature of the work required.
This is a progressive role that is subject to promotion and increased responsibility that will also lead to excellent payrises and bonus payments.
The successful candidate could come from a land promotion, agency, consultancy or developer background but the main core experience required is knowing what strategic land site that will come to fruition in the next 5 – 10 years.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential strategic land opportunities by researching local authorities and land parcels with the potential to come to fruition within the next 5–10 years.
- Support sourcing and acquiring strategic sites for partnership deals and private developments within Greater London, the Home Counties and surrounding regions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate site viability and develop viable proposals for land opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of market and policy changes that affect strategic land development and timelines.
- Work in a flexible manner, with the ability to operate remotely as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience from land promotion, agency, consultancy or developer backgrounds.
- Core requirement: ability to identify strategic land sites with a 5–10 year horizon and assess their potential.
