About the Role
As a Strategic Workforce Planning Manager, you will drive workforce planning across the organisation, helping the business anticipate and respond to key workforce disruptors, emerging skills, and changing market trends over a 3-5 year horizon.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to identify critical workforce segments, roles, and skills needed for the future.
Analyse workforce disruptors and assess their impact on future workforce strategy.
Benchmark the organisation against competitors, industries, and market trends to develop insight-driven recommendations.
Develop external insight to challenge and inspire new thinking around workforce strategies.
Lead the development of workforce strategies, balancing build, buy, borrow, and reskilling approaches.
Validate workforce assumptions by continuously measuring and refining supply and demand models.
Support the design of the future organisation, identifying areas for investment and divestment.
Develop best practices and build internal capability across workforce planning communities of practice.
What You'll Need:
A strategic, future-focused mindset with the ability to think long-term.
Strong analytical skills-able to turn data into insight and tell compelling stories that drive action.
Confidence working with senior leaders to influence workforce decisions.
A self-driven approach, comfortable working in ambiguity and adapting as the organisation evolves.
The ability to challenge and provoke new thinking through external benchmarking and insights.
This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of strategic workforce planning, ensuring the organisation has the right skills, capabilities, and structures in place for long-term success. If you're a curious, data-driven, and forward-thinking workforce planning expert, we'd love to hear from you!
