An exciting opportunity has become available to join Ideal Health’s team as our Strategy Director.

Role

This is a high-level strategic role reporting directly to the CEO and would involve monitoring market direction through networking with key stakeholders across the industry to help shape the strategic direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Through closely monitoring the market direction and networking with senior contacts across the industry, you will help shape the company’s strategic approach. You will provide thought leadership, anticipate emerging trends, identify customer needs and help to develop potential solutions.

Networking: You will network with key stakeholders across the industry, through attending events, meeting key contacts and engaging with partners across the market, to facilitate horizon scanning, gain market intelligence, build relationships and identify potential opportunities.

Business Development Support: You will provide SME support relevant to your experience to the client engagement team, such as, client meetings, scoping projects, writing proposals and delivering presentations.

Building Solutions: Working with the executive team, you will drive strategic initiatives and create a clear roadmap for the creation of new services and evolution of existing solutions in line with the company’s strategic goals.

Project Oversight and Delivery: Oversight of and involvement in the delivery of certain consulting projects, in areas such as digital strategies and service improvement.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for an ambitious individual with broad digital health experience at a senior level, ideally across acute, mental health and other care settings.

  • Strong experience in the commercial digital health sector, ideally with experience in consulting services across strategy and system implementation.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfortable dealing with people at a senior level.
  • A strong networker and communicator, with a demonstrable network of contacts within the digital health sector.
  • A strategic thinker, with the ability to analyse complex situations, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies.
  • A structured approach with the ability to think and plan tactically and creatively and to prioritise work programs in the face of competing demands.
  • Ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A can-do attitude and focus on a win-win philosophy.

This is a hybrid role, primarily based at our Guildford office, but will involve travel to client sites / events.
