The Purpose
As a Strategy & Insights Associate at PPRO, you’ll play a key role in turning data into impact. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities using data-driven insights and will own the execution of key pieces of work that improve decision-making across commercial, tech, and legal. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of various workstreams, acting as a project manager to scope, analyse, and deliver solutions that drive measurable outcomes. This role is perfect for someone who combines strong analytical skills with the ability to collaborate across functions, influence change, and see projects through from insight to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Insights & Growth
- Analyse customer pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements
- Benchmark customer ramp and design strategies to shorten time-to-revenue
- Conduct cost–benefit analyses on customer segments to guide sales prioritisation
- Proactively identify new opportunities to drive growth using data-driven insights
- Tech ROI & Product Effectiveness
- Build frameworks to measure ROI of tech builds and product features
- Partner with product and engineering to evaluate prioritisation vs. realised business impact
- Legal & Contracting Efficiency
- Analyse time spent on contract review and negotiation
- Quantify the value of customers/contracts relative to legal resource effort
- Churn & Retention Analytics
- Identify churn drivers and build early-warning systems
- Partner with customer success to design proactive retention strategies
- Commercial Productivity & GTM Insights
- Assess sales productivity and ROI of activities (meetings, RFPs, onboarding)
- Analyse ROI of marketing campaigns, product adoption, and partnerships
- Process Automation & Self-service Reporting
- Build dashboards (Looker/Power BI) to centralise insights and reduce manual work
- Automate recurring reporting and make data accessible for non-technical teams
- End-to-End Ownership
- Take ownership of workstreams from scoping to delivery, acting as a project manager
- Drive cross-functional execution of key initiatives, ensuring recommendations translate into outcomes
You’ll Need to Have
- Proven experience in a strategy, analytics, or insights role, ideally within fintech, payments, or SaaS
- Strong analytical toolkit – SQL, Python, Looker
- Experience building dashboards and automation that drive adoption and impact
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with commercial, product, legal, and customer-facing teams
- Experience influencing internal stakeholders and driving change through insights
- Clear communication skills with the ability to turn complex analysis into simple, actionable insights
- A problem-solving mindset and a passion for driving efficiency and impact
Nice to Haves
- Experience driving cross-functional work from start to finish, including insight generation, shaping a course of action, and execution
- Experience in pricing, churn analysis, or product ROI measurement
- Exposure to contract analytics or legal process optimisation
- Experience in high-growth or scale-up environments
