Job Title: Strategy Specialist

Philips has 2 Strategy Specialist openings supporting the development of both short-term and long-term business strategies, ensuring alignment of resources, technology, and processes with organizational goals. You will collaborate cross functionally to integrate strategic insights into operational plans, monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and recommend improvements, conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify and evaluate market trends and competitive dynamics and assist in preparing detailed business cases and strategic proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of short-term and long-term business strategies, ensuring resource allocation, technology adoption, and business processes are aligned with strategic goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate strategic insights into operational plans and facilitate execution of initiatives.
  • Monitor the progress and impact of strategic initiatives using advanced analytics and performance metrics; identify risks and opportunities and recommend improvements. Assist in preparing detailed business cases and strategic proposals, developing business plans, and completing due diligence activities using data-driven insights and competitive intelligence.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify and evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry shifts; inform strategic decision-making at business unit and corporate levels. Support development and implementation of strategic models and frameworks to drive long-term growth and profitability.
  • Apply advanced problem-solving techniques to conduct root cause analyses of strategic challenges and provide innovative solutions. Prepare presentations for senior leadership highlighting risks, opportunities and recommendations to drive informed decisions.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (business unit leaders, industry analysts, data providers) to ensure strategic initiatives are informed by accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, growth strategy, International Business or equivalent; experience in finance preferred.
  • Skills: PowerPoint and Excel proficiency; Data Analytics, Business Intelligence Tools, Stakeholder Management, KPI Monitoring and Reporting, Portfolio Management, Strategy Development, Root Cause Analysis, Business Case Analyses, Consulting, Business Modeling, Market Research & Analysis.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Business, Economics, Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Physical, Cognitive and Environmental requirements: must be able to perform the minimum requirements with or without accommodation.

Benefits and Work Model

  • We work as a team; for office-based roles, in-person presence is expected at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in company facilities. Field roles may be conducted outside of main facilities, at customers or suppliers’ locations.
  • This is an office role.
  • Salary and benefits: The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $107,520 to $172,032, with variation based on factors including experience and location.
