Structural Design Engineer - Heritage and Conservation Projects · Permanent · Central London · £38,000 - £48,000 + annual bonus (10%) + benefits

Responsibilities

• Join the Heritage team as a Structural (Conservation) Design Engineer on existing and new build projects with a focus on refurbishment, conservation, and adaptive reuse.
• Work within a well-established team on heritage-related structural design across projects up to £50 million in value.
• Collaborate with internal team members and external consultants to deliver high-quality design solutions for heritage and conservation projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years Structural Consultancy experience with strong design skills.
• Solid theoretical and practical background in all structural materials relevant to heritage projects.
• Experience with a variety of heritage projects in the sector, including refurbishment, conservation, and adaptive reuse.
• Full training programme provided to help achieve chartership and CARE accreditation.
• Demonstrable passion for the heritage sector.

Current projects include new-build, refurbishment, and conservation engineering with project values up to £50 million across London and the South East. You will join an industry-recognised leading team in the sector and collaborate with talented individuals within the team and with external consultants.
