Pick Everard's thriving Structural Engineering team in Nottingham is expanding and looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to work on exciting new projects and undertake site survey work.
The role involves a varied workload focusing on the design and management of projects in sectors such as local government, commercial, custodial, residential, and central government. Discover our projects
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality technical project outputs
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Assisting with surveys and supporting junior staff
- Acting as a point of contact for client/contractor queries
- Minimising health and safety risks in structural activities and contributing to overall project safety assessments
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of BSc or BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering, MSc or MEng
- Good verbal communication skills for effective teamwork
- Experience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards and construction methods
- Familiarity with structural modelling, analysis, and design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
Additional desirable qualities include:
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
- Experience visiting sites
- Motivation for ongoing professional development
