Student Funding Administrator University of Cambridge About the Role The Student Funding and Fee Policy Team sits within the Admissions and Access Department, and we are a lively and supportive team covering a wide range of funding activities for the Collegiate University. This varied role supports the Student Loans Administrator in administering US Federal Loans and other loan schemes on behalf of the collegiate University. The role holder ensures the accuracy of loan applications, disbursements and related data and ensures compliance with US Dept. of Education Regulations. The US Federal Loans are audited annually, so extreme accuracy and attention to detail is required. The role also supports the Henry, Procter and Choate Funds which provide full funding for students from British Universities to attend Harvard, Princeton or Yale for one year. The role also offers opportunity to contribute to a variety of administrative functions across the Student Funding and Fee Policy team. Responsibilities
Administer US Federal Loans and other loan schemes. Ensure the accuracy of loan applications, disbursements and related data. Ensure compliance with US Dept. of Education Regulations. Support the Henry, Procter and Choate Fellowships. Perform administrative functions throughout the Student Funding and Fee Policy team.
Qualifications
Experience in an administrative role, preferably in student funding or scholarship administration. Ability to prioritise, self‑manage workload, meet targets and deadlines, and handle pressure. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Quick learning ability for new records and reporting systems. Educated to HND/HNC, Level 4/5 vocational qualifications or equivalent practical experience. Excellent organisational, administrative and written communication skills (written task may be assessed).
