We are looking for a Student Recruitment Advisor to join our Direct Sales team at CATS Global Schools. You’ll be responsible for driving performance of your territory, working with schools and colleagues in admissions to deliver a quality and compliant enrolment of new students. CATS Global Schools Head Office is based in Cambridge, UK. We welcome applications from individuals who are based in Europe and are able to work remotely.
Overview of the Job
Student Recruitment Advisor is responsible for supporting international and domestic student recruitment activity, with an emphasis on lead conversion through consultative sales email, calls, and video conferences to students, their parents and school partners who have applied or made an enquiry about a programme of study at CATS Global Schools. This is a full-time role, starting in autumn 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communications, administration and organisation skills who can build relationships quickly and want to start a career in sales while gaining invaluable experience in a competitive industry.
During peak seasons and busy periods, the post holder may be required to work weekends with prior notice and agreement.
REPORTS TO
You will be directly responsible to the Senior Recruitment Manager.
Main Responsibilities of the Job
- Ensure that direct sales enquiries, direct applications and walk-ins are converted via focused follow-up activity.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure fast, efficient and effective follow-up of student leads and applications to improve conversion rates, attain student recruitment targets and provide high standards of customer service.
- Act as the support for other areas within the Direct Sales Team, providing cover for the staff during absences and extra support in busy periods.
- Work closely with the regional sales teams to follow up leads generated by direct channels in their markets.
- Provide accurate sales data and weekly updates to the team.
- Work closely with the school to arrange student interviews, Open Days and attend external events with academic staff.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the relevant software, processes and databases.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the CATS Global Schools Group portfolio of colleges, courses and entry requirements to provide accurate advice and assessment to applicants.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Educated to A level or above.
- Experience in a customer service and/or sales environment.
- Experience of working in a global business and/or education environment.
- Excellent communication and intercultural skills.
- Experience of CRM systems/customer databases.
- Target-driven, determined and ambitious.
- Strong administrative skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload, to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, punctual and highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively, demonstrating great teamwork.
- Ability to speak a foreign language.
