Overview

We are seeking a Supplier Relationship Manager to oversee and optimise supplier partnerships within the procurement and supply chain department. Based in Glasgow, this role focuses on fostering collaboration and ensuring the efficient delivery of a cohesive supplier relationship and procurement plan.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain service quality.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimise value and minimise risk.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities.
• Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations within the supply chain.
• Prepare and present reports on supplier performance and procurement metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supplier management processes.

Qualifications

• A background in procurement, supply chain, or a related field within business services.
• Supplier Relationship Management
• Contract Management and negotiating contracts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and organised approach to handling multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in procurement and supply chain management.
