Responsibilities

• Usingavailablesystemstools,monitor‘yourportfolioofwines’ensuringthatreplenishmentcommitmentsareinplacetocovershortandmediumtermdemandrequirements.
• Ensurethatthefollowingareconsideredduringthereviewcycle:-Stocklevels,Expectedstock,Forecast/Actualdemand,targetservicelevels,lead-times,Supplierreservesandseasonalpolicies.
• Consolidateindiv idualcustomerrequirementsfornon-listedlinesandprovidehighlevelforecastinginformationdirecttosuppliers.
• Liaisewithsupplierstoarrangetimesensitivedirectdeliveriesforprestigiousaccounts.
• ContinuallyreviewandappraisetheagreedforecastagainstshorttermtrendsandensurethatdeviationsarecoveredandcommunicatedtotheDemandPlanner
• RoutinelyreviewinventorylevelsagainstthestockplantoensurethattargetstockholdingobjectivesaremaintainedandinlinewithKPI’ssetandcommunicatedbytheSupplyChainManager.
• Reviewandmonitorproductavailabilityservicelevelsandensurethattheportfoliooperateswithintheagreedtargets.
• Manageorderreviewcycles,frequency,consolidationandsize(includingEOQEconomicOrderQuantity/MOQMinimumOrderQuantity)toensurethattheportfoliooperateswithintheagreedtargetobjectives.Availability,Overallstockholdingandcover,Shippingcosts
• LiaisewiththeSalesteamsand(DemandPlanner)toprovideguidanceonpotentialnewbusinessorcustomerlistingrequests.
• WorkcloselywiththeSalesteamstoensurethatspecificcustomerrequirementsareplannedanddeliveredalongside‘businessasususual’(newcustomers,directdeliveries,specificevents).
• WorkwiththeDemandPlannerandSupplyChainManagertoensureshorttermsupplyissuesaremanagedthroughallocationstoprioritycustomers.
• Incorporateconfirmednewlistingsintoshorttermreplenishmentactivitiesandensurethaton-goingdemandchangesaresharedwiththeDemandPlanner.
• Prepareseasonal‘stockbuild’planstomitigatetheeffectsofpeaktradingperiodsandperiodsofproducerclosures.Sharesuchplanswith3PLpartnerstosupportcapacityplanningactivities.
• Continuallyreviewexpectedarrivalsvsplannedtosupportearlycommunicationofimpendingconstraintsorshortagestothebusinessandourcustomers.
• WorkcloselywithSalesTeams,BrandManagementandtheDemandPlannertoassistwithtenderresponseactivitiesandtheprovisionofadviceonspecificproposedwines.
• Considertheimpactonourenvironmentandchallengecurrentmethodswherealessharmfulapproachmaybeavailable

Qualifications

• Experienceindemandandsupplyplanningenvironment.
• ExperienceusingERPandreplenishmentmodellingsoftwarepackages.
• IntermediateExcel
• Goodknowledgeandunderstandingofreplenishment/forecastplanningprocesseswithinthefood/drinksindustry.
• Attentiontodetailandnumericalaccuracy
• Timemanagement,self-startercanworkwithoutsupervisionandcapableofmakingdecisions
• Teamplayerwhoactivelycontributestotheteam’soperationanddevelopment
• Analyticalapproachandstrongproblemsolvingskills.
