Salary: £78,000+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
Work as part of the Future Support Programmes leadership team and an integral part of the capture team to ensure that supply chain inputs are provided and considered as part of the capture process
Supporting the development of the Capture Plan understanding the Win Strategy, Price to Win and the role of supply chain to support achievement of this
Collaborating with the supply chain team and suppliers to gather ideas, develop objectives, and create models that support the delivery of a high-quality bid or proposal, ensuring it meets requirements for resilience, availability, and agility
Supporting stakeholder management across all relevant levels of the business and leading supply chain interactions, with backing from the wider team where needed
Leading the development and delivery of supply chain strategy, governance, and change initiatives, ensuring consistent improvement across procurement, warehousing, transport, and logistics, while promoting continuous improvement and best practice sharing
Manage priorities effectively by delegating tasks across a matrix team, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and on time
Deputising for the Supply Chain Director on business winning activities when required
Your skills and experiences:
Substantial supply chain experience working within early life cycle programmes, with some experience working across the wider supply chain discipline structure
Proven experience of business winning methodologies, e.g. bid to win, price to win
Significant experience of strategic cost management tools and techniques
Demonstrate leadership capability working in a complex business environment and setting operational direction

The team:
This is a high-impact role working as part of the Future Support Programmes leadership team, responsible for shaping strategic supply chain inputs into long-term capture activities. You will play a key role in influencing early customer engagement, helping to design contract solutions that maximise BAE’s supply chain leverage. Acting as the senior supply chain lead, you’ll ensure that supplier strategies are embedded into winning bids, while also driving innovation, governance, and collaboration.
