Job Details
As a Supply Teacher English, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. You ll be expected to follow existing schemes of work, maintain clear learning objectives, and uphold the school's behavioural standards. The ideal Supply Teacher English will have a passion for literature, language, and developing student literacy. You ll enjoy the flexibility of supply teaching with the chance to regularly return to a school that values consistency and familiar faces.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Supply Teacher English seeking day-to-day or longer-term cover roles within a supportive environment. You will be supported by experienced heads of department and excellent teaching resources.

Qualifications and Requirements

• QTS or UK-recognised teaching qualification in English

• Proven experience working in secondary schools, particularly in English at KS3 and KS4

• Ability to inspire and engage students through creative lesson delivery

• A strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills

• Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain one
