This role offers the chance to apply your analytical skills to carbon reporting, compliance, and sustainability strategy — making a measurable impact on organisational goals.

The Role

  • Collect, analyse, and report on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data, including emissions, energy, water, and waste.
  • Monitor and track greenhouse gas emissions (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) in line with recognised frameworks.
  • Support the delivery of carbon reduction plans, net zero strategies, and life cycle assessments.
  • Contribute to sustainability reporting and dashboard development for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and legislation (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 50001, SECR, ESOS).
  • Collaborate across departments to embed sustainable practices into day-to-day operations.
  • Support environmental training, audits, and awareness campaigns.

About You

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Geography, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and effectively.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive in driving improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualisation tools; experience with sustainability software (e.g., LCA tools) is an advantage.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in ESG, sustainability, or compliance is desirable.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience).
  • Hybrid or flexible working arrangements.
  • Opportunity to build expertise in ESG, carbon management, and sustainability reporting.
  • Career development within a supportive and forward-looking team.
  • A chance to contribute directly to net-zero goals and wider positive impact initiatives.
