Sustainability & Compliance Manager – Human Rights EMEA (FTC - Mat Cover)

Fixed-term opportunity to cover maternity leave for a role focused on human rights, sustainability, and regulatory compliance across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Responsibilities

  • Lead human rights assessments and due diligence across diverse industries and geographies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to elevate human rights, health & safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Establish and manage whistleblowing channels in key EMEA territories.
  • Project manage the integration of enhanced due diligence and best practices into core business processes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing on human rights and sustainability.
  • Design and deliver impactful training for colleagues and suppliers.
  • Stay ahead of global sustainability standards, legislation, and emerging best practices.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Represent Sky in trade associations and multistakeholder forums on human rights.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Human Rights Risk Register & Scorecard.
  • Help implement monitoring tools and IT solutions to track progress and compliance.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in human rights due diligence, or ethical supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of emerging UK and European legislation on human rights and sustainability.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work with a wide range of external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for responsible business.
  • Excellent communication and training delivery capabilities.
