Sustainability Consultant / Strategist

We’re working with a brilliant corporate communications agency that is looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant / Strategist to join their growing ESG and sustainability team.

In this advisory role, you’ll work closely with clients to guide them through the evolving sustainability landscape. You’ll need to have a deep knowledge of the CSRD and ISSB and have tangible experience of consulting with clients on Double Materiality Assessments. You’ll provide clear, strategic counsel to a variety of clients, helping them align their sustainability disclosures with regulatory standards and stakeholder expectations. You’ll also worked with the wider agency team including Reporting Account Directors and Creative Department on the delivery or best in class Sustainability Reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on sustainability reporting requirements with a focus on CSRD, ISSB.
• Lead and support Double Materiality Assessments and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Translate complex frameworks into actionable strategies and reporting narratives.
• Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, reporting, creative) to deliver integrated solutions.

About You:

• Strong background in sustainability strategy or ESG advisory.
• Hands-on experience delivering Double Materiality Assessments.
• Confident navigating the CSRD and ISSB frameworks and have a broad knowledge of other sustainability / ESG related regulations and legislation across Europe and the rest of the world.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity for senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Enjoy building strong and consultative relationships with different client stakeholders.
