Sustainable Finance – Programmatic Acquisition Specialist – Environment Sector
An early-stage PE-backed business in the environmental sector is expanding its platform through acquisitions and is seeking an Origination Lead to drive the acquisition of UK-based smaller companies in the environment and ecology space.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven, commercially minded, with strong experience in value creation, overseeing due diligence processes, and building relationships within the ecology/sustainability sector, with detailed knowledge of its current landscape.
Applicants should have:
- 8+ years in corporate development, acquisitions, or related fields
- Proven proactivity in deal origination and execution
- Strong understanding of the environmental/ecology sector
- Experience in acquiring small to medium-sized businesses is preferred
- Degree or higher education
This role offers an £80,000-£90,000 salary, with a total compensation of approximately £150,000 plus equity. It is fully remote, with UK-wide travel required to meet clients and prospects.
