Sustainable Finance – Programmatic Acquisition Specialist – Environment Sector

An early-stage PE-backed business in the environmental sector is expanding its platform through acquisitions and is seeking an Origination Lead to drive the acquisition of UK-based smaller companies in the environment and ecology space.

You will be self-driven and commercially minded, with strong experience in value creation, overseeing due diligence processes, and building relationships within the ecology/sustainability sector, through a detailed knowledge of its current landscape.

• 8+ years of experience in corporate development, acquisitions, value creation, or similar fields
• Proven proactivity in deal origination and acquisition execution
• Strong understanding of the environmental/ecology sector
• Experience in acquisition of small/medium-sized businesses is preferred
• Degree or higher education

This role offers a salary of £80,000-£90,000, with a total compensation of around £150,000 plus equity. It is a fully remote position, with UK-wide travel required to meet clients and prospects.
