System Engineer - BESS

In this role, the System Engineer will drive the technical design and development of projects from origination through to construction. This will involve producing site layouts and SLD designs, providing technical support for procurement, EPC tendering and due diligence, liaising and negotiating with EPC and DNOs, and carry out battery acceptance testing.


The ideal candidate will have a background in design engineering for BESS projects, and strong AutoCAD experience. You should also hold a Bachelors degree or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or similar.

The Role:
*Drive technical aspects of BESS developments
*Produce site layout and SLD Designs
*Provide technical support for procurement, EPC tendering and due diligence
*Technical liaison with EPC and DNOs
*Remote working - occasional site visits


The Person:
*Experience designing layouts for BESS projects
*Strong experience using AutoCAD
*Bachelor's degree or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Power System Engineering or similar
*Willing to travel when requried
