Make a difference to our business

You will join the Aerospace Engineering Team, which consists of a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers including Mechanical, Electronic and System engineers. The team develops products to support a growing the Aerospace business through both Custom Product Opportunities (CPO) and New Product Introductions (NPI). The team designs and tests innovative pressure sensors supporting projects from cradle to grave, working closely with all other functions, such as sourcing, advanced manufacturing and quality, as well as with our production facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Generating Internal & External product/system documentation.
  • Managing configuration of system/product documentation, documentation standards and procedures.
  • Managing requirements of multiple system/product programs from inception to destruction.
  • Working closely with support functions such as quality, supply chain, supplier base etc.
  • Being Point of Contact for documentation exchange between customers and suppliers.
  • Developing and advancing internal documentation processes, procedures and standards.

Qualifications

  • Be Degree or equivalent qualified in an Engineering discipline, preferably in Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical subjects.
  • Have significant Aerospace Systems development background.
  • Have the ability to interpret Aerospace specifications, standards and drawings.
  • Have knowledge of sector quality management processes such as AS9100, GRESS, APQP.
  • Have knowledge of environmental test requirements such as DO160 & Mil Std 810.
  • Have good knowledge of system verification and validation techniques.
  • Be comfortable working in an environment with high expectations for quality, on-time delivery, and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
