Lead the team to progress the design, development, design proving, test, commissioning, and in-service support of equipment. The Systems Engineering Team Lead will be based at our Barnstaple site with flexible working. The salary for this role is up to £80k, depending on experience.What you’ll be doing25% Team Leadership and Management – Ensure team members have appropriate tools and equipment to work safely and efficiently. Allocate team members to projects based on business priorities while supporting and empowering team members to grow and develop.25% Business Development Support – Provide technical expertise to the Business Development function, including the generation of technical proposals and bids. Assist in evaluating new technology and methods. Support bidding activities through technical work package definition and related resource estimation.50% Project Delivery – Coordinate and lead the delivery of engineering work packages. Lead system integration verification and validation activities and manage issue resolution. Manage capture, analysis, traceability, configuration and V&V of product requirements.
