T24 Technical Business Analyst

Outside IR35

Start: ASAP

Duration: initial 6-months

Location: 3-days per week in Central London

Role Overview

Act as a key link between business and development teams to ensure Temenos solutions meet business goals and are technically achievable.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing code to assess and propose solution feasibility

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine requirements

• Estimate development effort and communicate solutions clearly

• Support QA and triage production defects with root cause analysis

• Work closely with engineering leads and project stakeholders

• Review design options and refine them with the development team

• Write user stories and define acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax

Skills & Experience

Temenos Transact Expertise

• Deep functional and technical knowledge of Transact platform

• Hands-on coding with Info Basic, TAFJ, OFS, L3 routines, and library management

• Skilled in T24 programming: templates, APIs, multi-threading, Oracle data structures

• Proven experience with securities setup, trading lifecycle, corporate actions, and delivery workflows

• SWIFT/MX setup across modules: CA, AA, MM, MD, accounting

Software Delivery

• Full software development lifecycle experience

• Agile practices including user story mapping and testing-first design

• Strong in integration patterns and technologies

• Solid understanding of testability and writing effective test cases

Domain Knowledge

• Securities trading, portfolio management, and back-office operations

• Delivery processes and system customization using Transact modules
