Job Purpose
The Talent Acquisition team is responsible for attracting and hiring staff for all departments throughout our UK offices. We aim to provide resourcing guidance and time efficient support in identifying and acquiring the best talent while giving candidates a first class recruitment experience. We are looking for a talent acquisition champion who thinks inclusively and will specialise in recruiting as well as in implementing and following robust and relevant processes. They will guide and coach hiring managers through effective interviewing and selection techniques to bring great talent to our organisation. The role will also focus on our early careers recruitment, helping to shape the early careers strategy. Along with recruiting for all level roles based in our UK offices, the person will work closely with the International and Corporate recruiting teams and will focus on delivering a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers, contributing to our overall Employer Branding and Employee Value Proposition. The Talent Acquisition Advisor will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager in London and will be part of the wider People team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Hiring Managers from job description preparation until new hire onboarding, guiding them through the recruitment process as their subject matter expert.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process through to offer stage, including agency briefings, sifting CVs, arranging interviews, interviewing candidates / phone screening, preparing a shortlist, interview scripts and providing feedback.
- Manage Early Careers recruiting efforts in the UK, including planning apprentice and graduate engagement strategies, partnering with schools, universities and other relevant organisations.
- Use LinkedIn and other relevant job boards to promote roles and drive direct sourcing, thereby reducing reliance on recruitment agencies and reducing costs.
- Work closely with 3rd party agencies, developing relationships and effective ways of working.
- Track candidates via an ATS, post job adverts and utilise direct job boards becoming a champion of Workday and using the technology to make further improvements.
- Create candidate pipelines through the use of LinkedIn, Workday Recruit, and other technology.
- Assist in the development and delivery of recruitment metrics to assist with the Talent Acquisition strategy.
- Collaborate with the wider People team to ensure a seamless and professional on-boarding experience for new joiners.
- Continuously review and implement recruitment processes and policies.
- Promote a positive candidate experience for all candidates.
- Get involved in ad-hoc projects as they arise within the People team.
Performance Objectives
- In 3 to 6 months the successful incumbent will build strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders, understand their specific requirements, and be their main point of contact for all key recruitment and early careers queries.
- Be able to effectively navigate our ATS and HCM system, Workday.
- Understand in detail TMHCC’s employee and contractor hiring processes and related requirements.
Skills And Experience Specification
- Experience recruiting in global organisations (Financial or Professional Services preferred).
- Experience in coaching hiring managers through the recruitment process.
- Knowledge of Early Careers hiring programs and strategies.
- Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers and building strong positive relationships.
- Ability to multi-task and work within tight timelines.
- A credible partner to the business with the ability to influence key stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Experience of working with Finance and Operations functions.
