The Talent Acquisition team is responsible for attracting and hiring staff for all departments in the UK region. We seek a high performing Talent Acquisition Advisor who is passionate about recruiting top talent and delivering a positive candidate experience that showcases Canopius’ culture and brand.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business managers to manage end-to-end recruitment life‑cycle for UK roles.
- Conduct briefing intake meetings, screen CVs, perform HR screening interviews and prepare short‑lists.
- Develop accurate job specifications for internal and external hiring and ensure alignment with the Canopius career framework.
- Maintain approvals for all roles in line with internal policy and manage recruitment admin tasks.
- Provide recruitment data and analytics for routine management reports.
- Advocate and increase participation in the Canopius Employee Referral Scheme for all roles.
Requirements
- Experience as a Recruitment Consultant / Partner within the insurance or financial services industry (preferred).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the capability to guide managers on structured interview processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, recruitment agents and databases.
- Proven track record in managing agency and search firm relationships and minimizing costs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of UK hiring employment law and practices.
