Job purpose

Location: Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Leeds office.

Salary: £57,500 - £67,500 + Bens

The Role

We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic Talent Acquisition Business Partner to collaborate with our agency partners, HR and business teams in identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent.

Working as part of a best-in-class HR function, the Talent Acquisition Business Partner will be responsible for developing and executing effective sourcing strategies to support professional recruitment, managing the end-to-end process including assessment centres, and partnering with business leaders to understand their recruiting needs and objectives.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced practitioner who is tech-savvy, delivery-focused, and committed to building the strong foundations needed to sustain excellence to support the NWF mission and wider people strategy as the organisation continues to scale.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with the wider HR team and the business to develop recruitment strategies, including assessment of working with agency or using campaign strategies for recruitment.
  • Talent Acquisition: Identify, source, and attract top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals. Where assessed as appropriate, partner with agencies on recruitment campaigns.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from developing job descriptions and conducting interviews to making job offers and onboarding new hires.
  • Partner with Agencies: Work with our agency partners on recruitment campaigns, briefing requirements, managing liaison with hiring managers, supporting interviews and offer processes.
  • Candidate Assessment: Design and run assessment centres. Across all recruitment activity, conduct in-depth candidate assessments, including interviews and skills testing, to ensure the selection of highly qualified candidates.
  • Employer Branding: Promote our employer brand and create compelling job postings and recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Data Analysis: Use data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their headcount requirement needs and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the recruitment process and advocate for diversity initiatives within the organisation.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Required

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner or similar role in a fast-paced environment managing multiple roles and recruitment strategies.
  • Experience of working in a Financial Services or Professional Service organisation is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices and current recruitment trends.
  • Proven experience in supporting an organisation's EDI strategy, building local and diverse talent pipelines and networks.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred) and other industry recruitment tools such as LinkedIn.

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Degree level or equivalent.
  • Strong in MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
