About the role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at building strong relationships with stakeholders, this could be the opportunity for you!

In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of corporate head office functions, supporting different areas of the business. This includes conducting in-depth role briefing meetings with managers, creating engaging job advertisements, proactively sourcing candidates, and guiding offer negotiations, all while following our best practice recruitment processes.

A key focus of this role will be championing diversity, equity, and inclusion by embedding inclusive hiring practices at every stage of the recruitment process. Collaboration will be vital as you partner closely with HR colleagues to align recruitment efforts with workforce planning and broader business objectives.

As an ambassador for NFU Mutual, you’ll ensure every candidate enjoys a positive experience, helping to reinforce our reputation as an employer of choice.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.

About you

We’re looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

You’ll be a team player willing to support the wider team when needed and able to collaborate with colleagues. In this role, you’ll need exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver effective recruitment strategies that meet the needs of the business.

Your ability to make sound, data-informed decisions will be critical as you navigate complex hiring challenges, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for both candidates and hiring managers. Attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills are equally important for effectively engaging candidates and conveying information clearly.

What we’re looking for:
• Significant experience in a TA role, gained from an in-house or an RPO environment and experience within financial services would be a distinct advantage
• Experience managing the full 360 recruitment cycle
• Strong understanding of recruitment challenges across different sectors, including market trends and key skillsets
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels
• Strong sourcing skills and experience using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and talent pipelines
• Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, with experience driving inclusive hiring practices.

At NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique. We celebrate the creativity and innovation that comes from diverse perspectives and experiences and share a common vision of doing the right thing for our customers and employees.

We recognise that some candidates may experience barriers during the recruitment process. So, we encourage candidates to discuss any adjustments or accommodations they need to be the best they can be throughout our recruitment process.

We're proud to be a Disability Confident Employer, a Race at Work and Women in Finance Charter signatory and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, regardless of age, ethnicity, disability, neurodiversity, gender, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background.
