Purpose of the Role

As Talent Partner, you will lead end-to-end recruitment for both Retail and Head Office functions, acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and key stakeholders across the business. You will play a critical role in shaping our hiring strategy, ensuring we attract, engage, and secure the best talent to support Moss’s continued growth.

This role blends delivery with strategic impact, from proactively building talent pipelines, owning employer brand activation, to influencing recruitment decisions with data and insight. You’ll take ownership of the recruitment process, drive hiring manager accountability, and elevate the candidate experience at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for Retail and Head Office vacancies, from role briefing through to offer.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and HR business partners to forecast hiring needs and align recruitment plans with business goals
  • Influence hiring decisions by providing market insights, candidate benchmarking, and proactive talent mapping
  • Coach and support hiring managers on best practice recruitment, interview processes, candidate evaluation, and inclusive hiring techniques
  • Set expectations for process adherence, candidate feedback, and offer timelines, ensuring consistency across the business
  • Facilitate regular check-ins and pipeline reviews to maintain visibility across open roles and hiring challenges
  • Partner with Marketing and L&D to bring the employer value proposition to life across key hiring channels, including LinkedIn and our careers site
  • Champion an excellent candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring communication is timely, transparent, and on-brand
  • Actively promote Moss as an employer of choice through thought leadership, events, and social media activity
  • Manage and improve recruitment processes using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy, visibility, and compliance
  • Own recruitment processes within the ATS, maintaining data integrity, managing dashboards, and supporting training across the business.
  • Report to the Talent Acquisition Manager key metrics (time-to-hire, conversion rates, source effectiveness), using data to drive continuous improvement
  • Proactively build and nurture diverse talent pools for priority and recurring roles, including Store Managers
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor research to advise on hiring feasibility, salaries, and location strategy
  • Lead seasonal campaigns and one-off hiring initiatives, ensuring all activity aligns with Moss's tone of voice and values

What You'll Need to Succeed

Technical:

  • 3–5 years minimum in end-to-end recruitment, ideally including:
  • In-house experience within Fashion and/or Retail
  • Exposure to both volume (retail) and corporate/head office hiring
  • Demonstrated experience in:
  • Partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions (e.g. Buying, Merch, Retail Ops, etc.)
  • Using an ATS, and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards)
  • Understanding of UK employment law
  • Presenting recruitment data and improving processes based on insight

Additional information

  • Our Hybrid Work Policy requires a minimum of 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.
  • Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract.
