We’re transforming the way we attract and hire exceptional talent and creating a Talent Acquisition model designed to deliver outstanding outcomes for our hiring managers and an exceptional experience for every candidate. In this newly evolved role, you’ll take a leading role in our journey, overseeing end‑to‑end recruitment across a defined portfolio, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to attract, engage, and hire top tier talent. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you’ll act as a trusted advisor on recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and market intelligence, while taking ownership of Director level and complex hiring activity. This is a role that combines strategic influence with hands‑on delivery working collaboratively with the Head of TA to shape how we build our talent pipelines, elevate our employer brand, and use data‑driven insights to make smarter recruitment decisions. You’ll also nurture and develop a Talent Acquisition Partner, working collaboratively to create a seamless and consistent experience for both hiring managers and candidates. What You’ll Be Doing
Manage and develop a Talent Acquisition Partner, adopting a matrix management approach across the wider function. Own recruitment delivery for our CEO team, Investment Management, and Wealth Management Directorates, providing expert guidance and partnership across all stages of the hiring process. Drive recruitment excellence, ensuring every touchpoint reflects a first‑class, inclusive, and engaging candidate and hiring manager experience. Translate workforce plans into actionable recruitment strategies, from direct sourcing and targeted campaigns to talent pooling and market mapping and sharing insights with the Head of TA to influence the overarching TA strategy. Use recruitment data and market trends to influence decisions, identify opportunities, and anticipate future talent needs. Work closely with the Head of TA, HRBPs, and senior leaders to ensure alignment between business priorities and talent strategies.
Who We’re Looking For You’re a confident and credible recruitment professional with deep expertise in end‑to‑end talent acquisition within a corporate environment ideally Financial Services; Investment Management, or Wealth Management sales teams. You bring both strategic vision and operational excellence, with a passion for creating true business partnering and commercial outcomes. You’ll bring:
Proven success in leading and developing in a recruitment environment, either through direct line management or matrix management experience. Expertise in senior, complex, and Director‑level hiring. A consultative mindset, capable of influencing and advising stakeholders up to Executive Committee level. Strength in workforce planning, pipeline development, direct sourcing and social media in recruitment. A commitment to inclusive recruitment practices and employer brand excellence. Strong analytical skills, using insights and market data to shape decisions and identify trends. A proactive, solutions focused approach to recruitment challenges.
Some travel across UK offices may be required, and occasional flexibility in working hours to meet key hiring priorities. What’s in it for you?
