Talent Management and Development Lead
Location: UK office / Hybrid (Salford Quays, Angel Court, Leeds, or Brighton)
Fixed Term Contract:12 months

As a Talent and Executive Recruitment Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our talent strategy, ensuring we attract, nurture, develop, and retain the best talent across our organisation. Your work will directly contribute to our mission by building a strong leadership pipeline and fostering a culture of continuous development and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Talent Management:Implement talent management disciplines and the annual Unstoppable Talent process across the organisation. Work with leaders to define and shape talent priorities and equip line managers to have development conversations.
Develop Talent Programmes:Lead the delivery of talent programmes and initiatives that address our talent and diversity business needs.
Succession Planning:Create and govern the succession planning process at ExCO-1 level, working closely with business partners.
Upskill Managers:Develop materials and ensure they are accessible to upskill managers in having talent conversations.
Talent Reporting:Improve talent reporting by designing a dashboard to track talent and recruitment KPIs.
Executive Resourcing:Oversee all Executive Resourcing delivery up to board level, ensuring quality talent acquisition in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Channel Partner Management:Manage relationships and performance of channel partners servicing multiple business lines.
Value-Added Services:Deliver services such as market intelligence, competitor mapping, strategic talent pooling, assessment tools, and diversity initiatives.
Stakeholder Relationships:Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
Thought Leadership:Bring thought leadership to the talent and recruitment agenda, shaping our approach to talent in response to changing strategic goals.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Experience:Proven experience in leading and implementing end-to-end talent strategy, talent management processes, and talent development programmes in large-scale, multinational organisations.
Knowledge:Deep knowledge of market developments and best practices in leadership development and talent management.
Succession Planning:Expertise in creating and executing succession planning processes at ExCO-1 level.
Diversity Initiatives:Experience in developing and delivering talent programmes that support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Data Insight:Ability to collate and draw insights from data in a leadership, talent, or learning context.
Talent Management Tools:Proficiency in using talent management tools/systems such as Workday.
Commercial Acumen:Ability to apply a commercial lens and understand the ROI of leadership and talent activities.
Executive Recruitment:Understanding of the executive recruitment landscape.
Desirable:
CIPD and/or coaching qualification, recent experience leading an Executive Talent Acquisition function, experience in a hybrid environment, and the ability to leverage an external network for talent insights.
