The TAS team provides a broad range of advisory services to clients, primarily in a deals environment, including financial due diligence (FDD) and tax due diligence. As a member of the FDD team you will be providing financial due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients. There may be opportunities to work on public company transactions, primarily on the AIM Market operated by the London Stock Exchange plc. A hybrid working model applies, with a mix of office/client time and remote working, and flexible working options including reduced hours and job shares may be considered.

The role is suitable for individuals looking to work less than full time, with the role adapted to fit flexible arrangements where possible.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of the client deliverable, ensuring a quality document is produced to facilitate the client’s decision making
  • Manage all aspects of the transaction, advising junior team members on technical aspects
  • Interpret and analyse complex information, identifying business issues and applying technical knowledge
  • Lead the presentation of conclusions and recommendations to the client and discuss implications and action points
  • Lead, motivate and coach the team, provide regular feedback and timely performance management
  • Consult effectively with specialists within the firm on complex risk management, instilling a risk management culture
  • Support business development and client relationship management, taking responsibility and ownership of client relationships at appropriate levels

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post-qualification deals experience
  • Previous experience in Audit or Transaction Advisory (preferred)
  • Ability to apply commercial judgement and build a network of contacts
