Overview

In-House International Tax Manager. Location: Manchester or Leeds – only 1 day per week in the office required. A leading global business with operations across 30+ countries is looking to appoint an In-House International Tax Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity where you’ll work on complex cross-border tax issues and play a key role in supporting the firm’s global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Managing tax compliance across allocated international territories
  • Reviewing tax filings, payments, and compliance calendars
  • Acting as primary contact for auditors on tax-related matters
  • Supporting transfer pricing documentation and DAC6 requirements
  • Leading implementation of Pillar II globally
  • Advising on withholding tax, VAT risk, and global mobility issues
  • Monitoring and improving Permanent Establishment risk management policies
  • Supporting restructuring, automation, and tax process improvement initiatives

About You

  • We’re seeking an experienced and motivated tax professional who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong international tax experience, ideally with exposure to Pillar II / transfer pricing
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A pragmatic, solution-focused approach with strong project management capability
  • The confidence to influence at all levels and the ability to balance multiple priorities
