We are seeking enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistants to work across secondary schools in East London on a flexible, supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and supporting students in their learning journey.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support to teachers and students, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals considering a career in education, recent graduates, or experienced support staff looking for flexibility.

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom effectively.

• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.

• Assist with classroom preparation, resources, and administrative tasks.

• Promote positive behaviour and provide pastoral support to students as needed.

• Cover may include morning emergency call-outs, full-day assignments, half-day sessions, or hourly cover as required.

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.

• Good communication skills and a positive, patient approach.

• Ability to adapt to different school settings and follow instructions effectively.

• Must have an Enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to apply for one before starting).
