Jefferies Credit Partners (“JCP”) is a leading private credit manager and the asset management arm of Jefferies Finance LLC (“JFIN”). JFIN was founded in 2004 as a 50/50 joint venture between Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (“MassMutual”), a global, diversified life insurance and financial services organization, and Jefferies, a leader in global investment banking, to invest in middle market direct lending transactions.
The Role:
We are hiring an experienced Team Assistant / Office Manager on a temporary basis as maternity cover.
The role will entail supporting a busy, tight-knit team, working in a flexible capacity (remotely and in the office).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the diaries and schedules of senior management, liaising with clients and business guests
- Manage complex travel arrangements (transport, accommodation, location logistics and itineraries)
- Organise and coordinate roadshows, across different time zones and involving external partners
- Coordinate the teams participation in events and conferences
- Processing of expenses in a timely manner
- Oversee projects and follow-up with team members where required
- Facilitate the onboarding process and provide ongoing support as the designated contact for new team members
- Organise, schedule and prepare research for meetings and structure meeting agendas
- Maintain electronic filing systems, ensuring processes and software are up-to-date and in working order
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar position – ideally at an Asset Manager or Investment Bank
- The desire and ability to flourish in a fast-paced, collegial environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Familiar with sales processes and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools – especially Backstop
