Overview
Team Leader (Clinical Negligence - Leeds) role at Fletchers Group. Location: Leeds/Hybrid. While we offer hybrid working, you\'ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in the office when needed.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Implement departmental plans in the team to deliver Fletchers’ priorities. Ensure the team provides excellent customer service. Ensure the team achieves their agreed performance targets. Deliver the appropriate objectives on “The Pitch”. Support the budgeting process for the Clinical Negligence department. Ensure high quality case planning, file management and ESD management within the team to support financial planning and delivery of team budgets.
- Leadership & Management: Lead the team, manage team members. Coach, develop and support team members. Promote management behaviours. Foster a “cradle to grave” environment where all lawyers are developing and meeting their potential.
- Technical: Provide advice and guidance on Clinical Negligence issues. Ensure cases are progressed appropriately and customer satisfaction is delivered. Work with the Heads of department to ensure the team delivers quality legal services with unrivalled customer care in a compliant way.
- KPIs/Outcome Measures: Deliver key output metrics (Fees, Work Done, EBITDA, EBITDAW, Customer satisfaction). Deliver key input metrics (Team chargeability %, letters of claim sent, cases served and settled, RA1/RA2 acceptance rates, win rate, data integrity). Deliver other metrics such as team engagement.
- Relationships: Provide and receive a high level of service to customers.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience of successfully leading or managing in a Clinical Negligence team.
- Experience of running a wide variety of Clinical Negligence claims.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service and grow team productivity.
- Experience of coaching and supporting team members; ability to role model good practice leadership.
- Technology literate; able to use technology to enhance legal services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to form positive working relationships with a wide variety of team members.
- Strong analytical skills.
