Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of social workers within the Children in Care Team, ensuring that their work promotes the best outcomes for children and young people.
• Oversee the placement and care planning of children in care, making sure their needs are being met and that statutory requirements are followed.
• Support your team in complex case work, providing guidance, supervision, and mentoring to maintain high standards of practice.
• Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to deliver an integrated service that benefits children and their families.
• Monitor performance and implement strategies for maintaining and improving quality of service.
