Technical Account Manager

Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + bonus

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

At Leadly, we excel at crafting data-driven lead and digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.

We’re looking for a Technical Account Manager who combines marketing expertise with client leadership — someone who doesn’t just manage accounts but truly drives growth through strategic performance marketing.

You’ll partner closely with our Paid Media, SEO, and Creative teams to translate marketing data into commercial impact, ensuring every campaign delivers against key client metrics.

Responsibilities

Strategic Technical Marketing Management

  • Act as the primary contact for your accounts, building trusted long-term partnerships.
  • Translate client goals and challenges into integrated digital marketing strategies across paid media and lead-gen funnels.
  • Be hands-on in campaign reviews, auditing performance marketing activity (Google Ads, Meta, etc.), and liaising with internal teams to optimise results.
  • Provide strategic marketing recommendations backed by data and commercial insight.

Performance Growth

  • Own client outcomes: ensure campaigns deliver against CPL, CPA, and ROI metrics.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for campaign expansion, upsell, and innovation.
  • Analyse marketing data to uncover trends, spot risks, and drive actionable recommendations.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with Paid Media, Creative, SEO, and Technical teams to execute high-performing campaigns.
  • Establish and maintain QA, A/B testing, and conversion optimisation standards across clients.
  • Lead client strategy sessions: turn performance marketing data into clear, confident growth stories.

Qualifications

  • Proven marketing experience, ideally in digital or performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta, Paid Search, or B2B lead).
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, tracking, and conversion optimisation.
  • Ability to translate technical paid advertising jargon into clear, strategic client conversations — and vice versa when liaising with delivery teams.
  • A track record of managing high-value client accounts with measurable commercial impact.
  • Analytical mindset: you think in data, act on insights, and understand how marketing drives business outcomes.
  • Organised, proactive, and capable of balancing multiple marketing priorities under pressure.

Benefits

  • £50–£55k salary + uncapped performance bonus
  • Hybrid working (2 days in our Manchester Work.Life office)
  • Structured onboarding + tailored personal development plan
  • Work from Anywhere policy — we encourage working holidays
  • Monthly Good Vibes Day: a paid day each month for wellness, learning, or fun
  • Extra holiday for service milestones + birthday off
  • A supportive culture that invests in growth, collaboration, and success
