Overview

Technical Application Specialist – Payments Services Platform role at Lloyds Banking Group. The role supports the new industry-leading International Payments Platform (IPP) and the Global Payments Plus (GPP) product, delivering key revenue streams and enabling mandatory compliance. Responsibilities

• Serve as a Technical Application Specialist with experience in International SWIFT and Payments, including integrating, configuring, and supporting 3rd party packages and bespoke solutions in a Payments production environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the software development lifecycle, ideally within a modern Agile engineering function.
• Apply strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Apply problem-solving skills within a technical environment.
• Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers to drive defect management.
• Support planning and implementation of production changes.
• Ensure solutions meet required specifications and regulatory/compliance requirements.

What you’ll need / Qualifications

• Adept solutions designer and problem solver.
• Experience with Finastra Global Payplus.
• Proven experience with technologies such as GPP, Java EE (J2EE), SQL, Oracle, Unix/Linux, MQ, WebSphere.
• Experience in using Agile and DevOps tooling is essential.

• Salary range: £70,929 - £78,810
