Technical Architect - Retrofit Focus

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Technical Architect with Retrofit experience to join a dynamic and growing Development Consultancy team based in London to bridge the gap between design, planning, finance, and delivery. If you're an ARB-registered professional with strong technical design skills and a passion for sustainable refurbishment, this could be your next big move.

The Role

• You\'ll play a key role in delivering high-quality technical solutions on retrofit and regeneration schemes. Working across RIBA stages 3-4, your responsibilities will include:
• Developing robust construction details for existing buildings and external envelope/cladding packages.
• Supporting the design and delivery of retrofit projects from concept through to technical delivery.
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of build ability and compliance.
• Leading and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.

Requirements

• Strong retrofit and refurbishment experience, ideally within housing or mixed-use sectors.
• Excellent technical detailing skills and knowledge of UK building regulations.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with PHPP is highly desirable.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ARB registration and a track record of working in technically led roles.
