About the Role
Chronos helps investors, developers, and utilities navigate complex battery storage investments, directly influencing how storage assets are deployed across global markets. We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-driven Associate Product Manager to support the development and expansion of Chronos.
As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality product features and improvements, ensuring smooth coordination between cross-functional teams, and helping scale Chronos across diverse geographies and use cases. You will work closely with Product Managers to execute the roadmap and drive initiatives that align with user needs and market trends.
This role is fast-paced and detailed-oriented, requiring strong problem-solving skills, organisational abilities, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate is someone who can execute efficiently, apply feedback holistically, and drive deliverables forward while collaborating effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of Chronos' platform scaling roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader product strategy and business goals
- Manage and maintain the product backlog of user needs and feature requests, ensuring that development priorities are clear and structured
- Translate storage market insights and stakeholder needs into structured technical requirements, collaborating with modellers, software engineers, and analysts to bring them to execution
- Take ownership of defined workstreams and support their development from planning through delivery, ensuring that execution is timely and meets quality standards
- Drive clarity in project execution, ensuring that technical teams and business stakeholders are aligned on key objectives
- Track development progress, identify blockers, and ensure smooth feature rollouts
- Proactively document best practices and contribute to process improvements that enhance team efficiency
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities, ensuring that work remains aligned with business needs and team objectives
What we are looking for
Required attributes:
- 2-4 years of experience in an analytical, software, or product-related role, ideally in energy, finance, consulting, or research
- Quick, self-directed learner with the ability to ramp up quickly in complex domains
- Strong problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying key patterns in data and applying insights to product execution
- Proven ability to manage structured workstreams, ensuring clear alignment between business needs and technical execution
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and track deliverables effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in product management or working with software development teams
- Familiarity with power market economics, renewables, or storage investments
- Competence in data analysis tools (Python, R, Matlab, or similar) is a plus
- Exposure to agile development methodologies and user research practices
