Overview

We\'re looking for a Technical Bid Writer to join our Revenue team and play a key role in developing compelling proposals for NHS and commercial opportunities. This is a permanent role reporting to the Director of Health Management, working remotely based in the UK. You\'ll collaborate across departments to produce persuasive content that showcases Optum\'s capabilities and supports business growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research to understand client requirements, industry standards, and competitive landscape
• Tailor bid responses to address specific client needs and highlight our unique value propositions
• Maintain a library of bid templates, case studies, and other supporting documents
• Review and edit bid documents for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
• Manage multiple bid projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
• Support production of thought leadership and case study materials

Qualifications  and Skills

• Detailed, persuasive writer with experience in technical bid writing, ideally within the healthcare sector
• Strong research skills, commercial awareness, and ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content
• In-depth knowledge of the NHS and its procurement processes
• Understanding of commercial frameworks and contract management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Research and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational abilities
