Responsibilities
Overseeing all technical and building services to keep OVO Arena Wembley operating safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards.
Managing and maintaining all key venue systems, including plant, IT, electrical and fire safety, to ensure reliability and compliance.
Driving a strong Health & Safety culture in partnership with the Technical Director, ensuring full adherence to legislation and company policy.
Supporting the successful delivery of events from planning to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams.
Taking on duty management responsibilities to safeguard the venue's operation and ensure exceptional experiences for visitors and staff.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing and maintaining a busy, hands‑on building – ideally within entertainment or a similar fast‑paced venue environment.
Strong knowledge of building services, compliance, maintenance planning and budget control.
Confident leadership skills with experience managing teams, working unsupervised, and staying calm under pressure and tight deadlines.
Excellent IT abilities (including Microsoft Office), strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused, team‑oriented approach.
The flexibility and capability to meet the physical and operational demands of the role, including working at heights and during unsociable hours. IOSHH Qualification required.
AutoCAD skills.
Asbestos Awareness Training.
Knowledge of Fire Detection Systems.
BS 7671 Electrical qualification.
Knowledge of sustainability practices.
