Technical Business Analyst - Insurance/Pensions
Our client, a leading player in the insurance and pensions market, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst. The role focuses on analysing new deals and the subsequent implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s insurance and pension systems. You will interact with multiple stakeholders across the business, particularly with technology and actuarial/pricing teams. The work is project-based, varied, and offers a degree of freedom and self-direction in a high-performing team supporting growth.
Responsibilities
Lead the Analysis > Design > Development > Testing > Implementation of new features and functionality to in-house systems to accommodate new transactions and operational/actuarial efficiencies.
What the client requires
A high-achieving graduate with 2-5 years’ work experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively whilst monitoring deliverables and deadlines.
Strong Excel skills - experience of manipulating large data sets and/or creating cash flow models.
Familiarity with coding languages such as Python is advantageous.
Pensions, insurance and/or reinsurance knowledge.
