Overview

We are working with a leading financial services client seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support an IT Process Standardisation and Governance programme. The role focuses on documenting and uplifting IT operational processes, consolidating best practice, and creating a single golden source of standardised documentation for the organisation.

This role requires 3+ days per week of office attendance in Boston, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Document end-to-end IT operational processes, including change, escalation, and communication matrices.
  • Develop detailed process flows using Visio or equivalent tools.
  • Capture and consolidate best practices and governance standards into operational documentation.
  • Produce high-quality technical writing and reusable templates for project governance.
  • Establish and maintain a centralised “golden source” of operational process documentation.
  • Partner with IT stakeholders and other business units to validate processes and ensure alignment with standards.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven background as a Technical Business Analyst or Technical Writer within IT operations.
  • Strong capability to map, analyse, and document complex processes.
  • Proficiency with Visio (or similar process documentation tools).
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Experience in operational process uplift, data quality initiatives, or IT governance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid Boston-based role requiring 3 days per week in-office in Boston MA.
