Technical Business Analyst with comp & bens data experience – 12 month FTC – London, Hybrid. Leading financial services firm in central London is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract with extension/conversion to permanent possible for the right candidate. The role focuses on shaping and delivering transformative solutions for compensation processes, across multiple jurisdictions, tools, teams, and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in shaping and delivering solutions for compensation processes.
  • Juggle administrative and commercial complexity across multiple jurisdictions within multiple financial services settings.
  • Dashboards/MI reporting and possibly Business Intelligence (BI) with ad hoc reporting.
  • Develop and maintain process and governance documentation, including appropriate controls.
  • Plan and execute projects, managing inter-dependencies, driving accountability, and delivering across teams.
  • Address data resilience and improve data architecture and alignment.
  • Integrate systems and document production; improve transparency and service to scheme participants.
  • Produce a medium-term road map that may include operating model changes to progress project goals.
  • Develop an enhanced MI suite for key stakeholders.
  • Document current governance and decision-making framework and recommend changes where needed.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify incentive schemes and develop a delivery plan/road map.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Approximately 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience with dashboarding of management information (MI) reporting and possibly BI.
  • Familiarity with complex compensation and incentive schemes (structures and mechanics).
  • Experience with procedure and governance documentation (including controls).
  • Project management skills: planning and execution, inter-dependencies, stakeholder accountability, and cross-team delivery.
  • Data architecture and governance experience.
  • Strong reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Experience implementing or transforming incentive/compensation systems.
