The candidate will work with both the developers and the user community to analyse data, identify gaps, propose solutions, develop data migration scripts, specifications and other artefacts as needed for the wider development process to be successful.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzing complex data sets to:identify data quality issuespropose resolutions in collaboration with the usersDeveloping:correction SQL scripts to address data quality issuesmigrations scripts in SQL as needed to take on data from legacy platforms into the new systemdata quality scripts to assert issues have been resolved and/or monitor to ensure no new issues arisereports as needed to deliver user requirementsSpecifying and driving delivery with wider development team of new screens, workflows and API usage patternsAssisting in testing new user functionality to ensure success of the delivered end user requirementsQualifications5+ years SQL experience5+ business analysis experience, preferably in a reference data domainStrong experience in analyzing complex historical (time-series) data and establishing Data Quality patternsExperience with bi-temporal data models is a plusHighly analytical with good problem solving skills and creativity; able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPositive individual with strong communication skills; able to interface well with users and other development teamsSelf-driven individual with an ability to work under pressureSkills DesiredUnderstanding of financial services instruments is a plusSelf-starter, delivery orientated individualPython is a plusSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesInvestment ManagementLocations: London, Cobham, Greater London, Datchet, United Kingdom. #J-18808-Ljbffr
