Technical Pre-Sales Lead

I am working with a global data and AI consultancy that is expanding its banking-focused Data Management practice and looking to bring on a Technical Pre-Sales Lead. This is a strategic, client-facing role where you'll partner with senior stakeholders to shape large-scale data transformation programs and drive cloud adoption across banking and financial services. You'll join a collaborative environment focused on delivering measurable business outcomes through modern data architectures, cloud strategy, and reusable data products. With increasing demand for data-driven innovation and regulatory compliance, this is a fantastic opportunity to influence C-suite decisions and lead high-impact engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Leading technical pre-sales engagements, including RFP/RFI responses and solution presentations.
  • Designing enterprise-scale data platforms using a variety of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, and Fabric.
  • Advising senior stakeholders on data strategy, governance, and innovation roadmaps.
  • Overseeing technical workshops and shaping solution blueprints that win new business.
  • Mentoring cross-functional teams and providing technical leadership including the sharing of best practice.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Data Warehousing/Data Engineering
  • Experience in technical pre-sales roles
  • Experience delivering transformation programs within the banking sector
  • Expertise working with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS and GCP
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at C-suite level.
  • Hands-on experience with data modelling tools such as Erwin Studio
