Overview
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join a global tech client that builds mobile-first platforms for social networking.
This role is a 6-9 month contract. Ideally, candidates can travel to the office in Central London some days per week; however, remote options can be considered if required due to urgency.
For this role, coming from a Data Scientist/Engineer/Analyst background is deemed important.
Short Summary
- Work with data engineering team on technical data features (data lake, streaming, feature store, etc.)
- Define and prioritize requirements for data infrastructure improvements and new capabilities
- Integrate third-party data solutions, ensuring technical fit and business value
- Evaluate vendor offerings and negotiate trade-offs across cost, scalability, and usability
- Translate technical/data requirements into structured product requirements compatible with overall data infrastructure
- Ensure downstream dependencies (analytics, ML models, reporting, other systems) are understood and accounted for in design decisions
- Align data infrastructure development with user needs across engineering, analytics, and product teams
- Define success metrics and acceptance criteria for data platform features and integrations
- Manage stakeholder communication and expectations across technical and non-technical teams
