Overview

Are you in Building/Technical sales in the UK but dreaming of blue skies, crystal clear waters and an island lifestyle? Our client is based on the island of Bermuda and is keen to hire a Technical Sales Manager to drive sales growth within Bermuda's building industry. This role requires strong technical sales expertise, building/construction knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks/ERP systems, as well as the ability to build relationships with architects, designers, and contractors.

Start date: January 2026

Package: IRO USD $75-100k, £55-75k virtually tax free (approx £40-50k basic, plus commission).

Key responsibilities

• Achieving targets and securing product specifications on architectural projects.
• Promoting products through client engagement, events, demos, and presentations.
• Providing technical support, quotations, orders, and project tracking from concept to completion.
• Managing POS/ERP systems for estimates, invoicing, payments, and reporting.
• Attending trade shows, maintaining industry network, and monitoring market trends.
• Collaborating internally to ensure timely delivery and after-sales service.

Requirements / qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive technical sales experience in building products.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, ERP systems, and reading construction drawings.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong confidence in driving.
