The Role:

A fantastic opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager to join a UK leader in working at height machinery. This full-time, permanent position focuses on driving sales of new equipment and service contracts across an established, loyal customer base across the UK. You’ll also generate new business through incoming enquiries, targeted outreach, and strategic lead generation with the marketing team.

This role involves regular client engagement – conducting product demonstrations, managing handovers, and building long-term relationships with customers in sectors such as retail, food & beverage manufacturing, logistics, and facilities management. Major accounts include high-profile names like ENGIE, CBRE and Manchester City FC.

This is a remote based role with frequent visits to customer’s sites across the UK.

Ultimately, we are looking to recruit a strong sales professional with the ambition and capability to head up the sales function in the next few years.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Technical Sales Manager role, you must have:

  • A proven background in capital equipment sales
  • Experience in powered access or materials handling equipment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A driven, ambitious approach and a willingness to travel
  • A full UK driving licence

The Package for Technical Sales Manager:

  • Basic salary between £40,000 – £50,000 DoE
  • Bonuses & commission taking your total earnings to £70,000
  • Company car or car allowance
  • 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
